The SACRAMENTO EXPERIENCE! Sacramento, California's Capitol City, is an easy two hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area, northbound on Interstate 5. Treat yourself (and your loved ones) to a wonderful weekend away from it all! Our site is accessible by car and offers plenty of easy parking. It is a relatively short walk from parking area to the demonstration area. Talk about easy access! This about as good as it gets! |

Our Site along Sacramento’s American River offers a beautiful, scenic view of the flora and fauna normally found along a wide, relatively slow moving river. If you care to, you’ll be able to paint that wonderful green-brown water, characteristic of a major tributary. This is an area that affords meandering trails over a river levee, gentle, sloping river banks, trees, etc. There’s an abundance of material here, so bring your sketchbooks and camera! | |

Recreation abounds! Nearby you'll find outdoor recreation such as golfing, biking and bike trails, camping, swimming, boating, river rafting, fishing, hiking trails, fishing and all around sight seeing. Nearby Folsom Lake is perfect for swimming, boating, fishing and windsurfing. Like our other sites, Sacramento also has many excellent restaurants offering a wide variety of fast foods and fine dinning, including American, Californian Chinese, French, Italian, Mexican and Vegetarian Cuisine. |

Painting Demonstrations are featured each morning including comments and questions prior to and during the on-site demo process! Afterwards, you’ll have plenty of time to sketch, photograph and paint before and after lunch. I’ll be available to assist you, answer your specific questions, and offer painting tips, insight, wit & wisdom! You'll receive individual and group critiques both days. At the end of a wonderful weekend, you'll leave having made new friends and be the proud bearer of some wonderful watercolors, sketches, and photos! All in all, great memories for “show & tell!”
