"This book has been very hard to write. It is the full account of my life and particularly the period that I spent in the U.S. Army and the so called "police action" in the Republic of Korea during the years from 1952 to 1954.I feel it was only the love of a woman, that God gave to me, that kept me alive and sane through all these years.
Since I have finished writing this book I have had a heart attack and a quadruple by-pass, that has left me with other problems. You see I am now having periods of deep depression. My doctor has advised me to see a psychiatrist, but I can't bring myself to do this.
I know I must fight this by myself and with the love of my Janice I will win."
